I have always enjoyed eating cakes, cupcakes, and sugar cookies with icing. Throughout my childhood I would go to the grocery store with my uncle as my aunt always needed something sweet for dinner. As I paced down the snack aisle my uncle would say “Gal you want something in here”. I already knew I wanted Lil' Debbie cakes or Cosmic brownies. I always wondered what my career choice would be. As I became a mother, my son inspired me to go into business. I was preparing for his first birthday and decided that I wanted to bake his first birthday cake. I started to experiment, and the childhood memories came to me. My son smiles the same way I did when I was in the snack aisle of the grocery store. I knew then that this is what I wanted to do.
